THE PROCESS
Planning a tile project can be intimidating. We are here and happy to help. Below are a few things to consider when planning a tile order.
OVERAGE TILE
It is always recommended that you add at least 10-15% of overage tile to your measured square footage.
If you are installing a complicated pattern, or you are installing in a challenging space where you anticipate a lot of cuts, 20% overage is recommended. This overage is for cuts and possible mistakes that might occur during installation. The overage will ensure that you have enough tile to finish the job once you start.
Because each tile is made to order, returns are not accepted.

CONSIDERATIONS
One of the beautiful aspects of handmade tile is its variability; this variation does require special attention when installing. We encourage you or the installer to lay the job out before you are ready to install it. This will allow you to see all the variation within your order, and mix lighter and darker areas to your liking. This is especially important if you are creating a pattern with shape or color.
